The USS Aquila is an
independent science fiction and fantasy fan club based in Northern KY and
modeled on the TV series Star Trek. By coming together in practicing the
Infinite Diversities in Infinite Combinations credo we can rejoice in our
differences as well as our commonality, and benefit as human beings. In the
process, we share ideas about all things science fiction and fantasy in
all time periods and media. The U.S.S. Aquila has recently docked at Starbase Karma to stay for as long as starship and base personnel agree it is mutually beneficial. This decision was cemented on March 31st, 2012 when Starbase personnel introduced the Aquila crew to the concept of the Swoonathon, a themed video party. In turn, Aquila crew added the element of an open house wherein the next video to be watched is voted on by all present at the start of that video.

List maintenance information-We intend to leave all Aquila or Starbase Karma announcements to the designated crew member from that ship from now on, and all Starbase Karma activities not otherwise labelled are to be considered joint activities with the Aquila. If you want to be on the joint activities list, go to starbasekarma.org and click the appropriate link at the bottom of the page. If you would like to be only on that list, send a note to rob.langenderfer@gmail.com to withdraw from this list, which will mention general scifi news and activities. We are considering splitting the scifi list into local and online or out of town activities. Send feedback to rob.langenderfer@gmail.com. Upcoming activities are below.
